This was a wonderful property. Very close to to a restaurant and even closer to the airport. Loved it very convenient and comfortable. We had an early flight out so we didn’t get to try the breakfast.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel itself has a great vibe and beautiful design. One thing that would have really elevated the experience would be having the terrace open throughout the day so guests could fully enjoy the property. It would have been such a nice place to relax, read a book, or enjoy coffee. The terrace was typically only open after 5 PM. The first night we were there it was closed for a private party, and another evening it did not open until 7 PM, which felt a little limiting for guests wanting to use the space during the day. The surrounding neighborhood is definitely a bit gritty. While I personally felt safe, there was a noticeable amount of drug activity and homelessness nearby.

The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable. I loved the rooftop lounge which felt like a peaceful oasis. The jacuzzi was very unique and tasteful. Every staff member we interacted with was very genuine and friendly and we felt that they really did care about guest experience. One thing to note is that the building is a bit older so the bathroom in my room was a bit smaller than you'd get in a newer hotel.

Rooms were small but cozy. Everything was where it should be but the aircon makes a terrible noise at night and its either i bear with it or turn it off. Breakfast is simple and nothing much to shout about. Would be good if more hot items were available. What is really nice is the lounge area with all day drinks and a microwave to heat up food. This was really useful and made the stay more bearable. This hotel is located at the fringe of the tenderloin. So turn a corner and you're in zombieland. We tried walking to the pier and turned a wrong corner so had an interesting time dodging them.

It is my place to stay when in San Francisco. Highly recommend.
